I've never been to The Colosseum. Also non of my close friends are going.

So I love the idea of a base camp.

Generally, at the Twisted events, the tables in the corner/just in front of the stage on the right hand side (as you look at it from the dance floor) seem to be popular.

I'll get to meet the famous Barbs. We hear a lot about her even though Barbs doesn't post.

    Doors open at 7.45pm.

I plan to get there around 8 ish for the refreshments.

But whoever gets there first can bag a table. How many tables will we need?

I’m planning on getting there for when the doors open… I’m always early.
So do you want me to nab a table when I get there?
At the Masked ball I think the tables had around 8-10 seats around them. How many of us are there?

Anyone travelling up from South East London? Wouldn't mind some company for the journey. I'm happy to drive!

you do know that outfit will stick in my mind now lol

well back from what was an awesome night

    the good

A beautifully lit and decorated hall
great friendly staff on the door
seeing some of the faces we have met over the last year and some old friends that we dont see often enough
some of the best dancers in the modern jive world too many great follows to mention you know who you were i didnt have a duff dance all night
    the fireworks at midnight
An unintentional blues room by Marc and Rachel
    and rachel those two dances
barbs said she loved her dance with you as well marc (just so you dont feel left out lol )

    The bad
The floor was dangerously fast in some areas (we saw a least three people slip over just beside the stage at the top)
we were all stood round in a big circle waiting for auld lang syne and someone stole it

Re: New Year's Eve Black & White Ball at The Colosseum, Watford

    What a blinding night!!!!!

Not a bad dance all night, music was stunning all night, when the fireworks went off they blew all of the systems which ended the Old Lansyng bit, but...Who really cares? A little bit of grisle in your otherwise magnificent meat pie just reinforces the British spirit as far as I am concerned.

Well done to all of the crew, an absolutly stunning job done by all. The floor was a bit challenging but was sorted out by Mike Ellard with talc and other methods.

All in all a storming night and a great way to see in the new year, book me in for the next one guys. One bad moment of the whole night....I did not dance with Lindy Loo, she had to leave a bit early due to family commitments, you owe me a couple of dances now my lovely, mit interest.

At the appropriate time Val and Rachel were bringing out trays of cakes and chocolates, I must say there is no better sight than 2 gorgeous and slim girls burdened with trays of goodies, made me glad to be a man.

A real effort made by everyone, and I must say that Batgirl looked particularly stunning with her new hair and magnificent weight loss xx.

A blinding, storming night and if you missed it....You missed it.

So, hold on, was it too fast or too slow?
