Forget the women from Tenko, you should have seen the power that woman had from (think it was called) Romper Room.

she used to sit down at the end of the programme, look through her magic mirror and see all us boys and girls sitting there through the magic of television and she used to say goodbye calling out the names of us. SHE NEVER CALLED OUT MICHELE.... i was devastated.

What was the kids' show with the dinosaur puppets? At the end, one did a funny dance to the theme tune. Might also have been a swing.

Hun I would like to claim that quote but it wasn't me it was Mini Mac. However I think when you look at the millions the Spice Girls have raked in the women in Tenko seem a bit behind when it comes to rewards for their angst.
Now moving onto this Romper Room I don't recall this, but it sounds a bit kinkyPerhaps I am getting it mixed up with 'Personal Services' and Ms Cin Payne. Oh !! the embaressment when I worked for the Local Authority Social Services, and we used to be called the Personal Services Department. We got some reactions to that one I can tell you.

I CANNOT believe no-one's said "TIZWAS" yet.

Sally James , Buckets of water, Wet T-shirts. I knew I liked it as a kid I just didn't realise WHY I liked it until I was that little bit older

what were the other two main presenters called? erm.. Chris Tarrant & Lenny Henry

Hmm.. I wonder what ever happened to them

(Not Forgetting Bob Carolgees and Spit the dog!)

They are rerunning Red Dwarf on Dave at the moment (Dave is a TV channel by the way)

Also doing reruns of Bottom. Eddie Hitler and Richard Richard at their best.

Love it...better than all the crap they put on these days.
