Currently showing on FX, I think. I downloaded a couple of episodes, then bought the US version of the box-set.

I've never understood roman numerals. I always thought it was World War Eleven.

Got the box set for my birthday, was well chuffed

It does help pass time - was watching one last night whilst working my way through a massive pile of ironing.

However i join in the teenage conversation about hollyoaks at school,i know that if i piped up and said, "You should watch Tenko" and told them what it was about, half the girls would fall asleep!
Well done you Mini Mac you will learn more about the strength us women have to survive and succeed from watching a prog like Tenko, don't forget to read about it too.

It's never too late for anything in my book. My children were 14 and 9 when I went to Uni, hard hard hard work doing it but I am so glad now. It did them good too, they are both good cooks, do their laundry ,ironing, keep their own places far better than when they lived at home and they say 'mum we owe it all to you , cos if we didn't do it it didn't get done'. There you go now job done

    Battle for Midway anyone... hehehehehe...

Frank Zappa used to punish his kids by making them watch the Christian TV channel for an hour solid To me, there's tough love, and then there's cruelty.

What about it? Big battle, ultimately irrelevant, what's there to talk about?

    Well, I'll say two things.

Michelle Ryan is gorgeous, and does a bang-up job with the 'mercan accent.

The writing, however, is crap. Or perhaps I should say the storylines are crap. First, they are too complex. Second, there's too much oh-gosh-how-much-stres-this-is-putting-on-my-relationship-with-my-little-sister crap. Third, they are hopelessly unrealistic.

In episode two they investigate a small town which has been attacked with a nerve gas, and Jaime (which the americans believe is pronounced 'Jaymee') gets attacked by 'bad guys' in ABC suits. Next scene the good guys are in the undergroound HQ and someone rushes in and says 'We've found the bad guys! They're in such and such a place with 25 trucks of nerve gas and they're rolling to 25 different destinations tonight!!'

And Barry thinks - who are those guys? They must have completely depleted the reserves of Henchmen-R-Us - that's 25 drivers for a start off! What do they want? Why do they want to kill thousands of people? How did they get the ABC suits and the state of the art weaponry? How did they get the 25 gas trucks? How did they get to use a chemical plant for long enough to produce 25 truck-fulls of nerve gas? How did they obtain the raw materials? How come this super-secret organisation that made her a bionic woman only found out hours before it was too late, rather than the FBI finding out weeks ago?

    ...and so forth.
