Unread posts functionality
Hi,
Just a quickie for the forum gods. I like using the unread posts function when I logon. However in the last couple of days I have zero unread posts, despite me only logging in once a day. I have checked the forums and there are new posts. Wondered if anything had changed. Phil |

I just opened a number of bookmarks, read several other pages then hit the 'Unread Posts' link in the welcome box.
It shows 1 new thread, and many 'no new posts since your last visit, but contain unread posts' threads. I'm interpreting this as the board software deciding that my click to search for unread posts was a second visit, due to session expiry of the first (some 40 minutes previously when I opened the bookmark). Is that possibly what's happening to you? |
