Here's some info on The Mint...
Just received this email...
Tune in and watch some of our Jive Weekend teachers
dancing on the ITV show "The Mint",
next Wednesday the 18th of October from midnight.
The following teachers will be on the show:
Jim and Nicky Bourgerie, who also own and operate the fabulous Dance Riviera chain of Modern Jive clubs in Kent.
Nigel Anderson and his new partner (Nina is currently abroad). Nigel is also co-owner of Hipsters Jive Joint, notorious for the wicked Phat Friday Freestyle dances every 1st Friday of the month at Ealing Town Hall.
Nelson and Karen Rose, who also own and operate the most successful chain of Modern Jive Clubs in the Devon area.
Adam and Tonia, possibly the best Latino Jivers in the Modern Jive circuit, regularly featured in the best independent National Jive Weekends across the UK.
Don't know what it's all about - Can anyone shed any light on this?

Well done for getting the plugs in for Jivetime @ Camber in November
I have been watching and think the presenter is a :w@nker:
He tried to stick his tongue down a few girls throats.................

you posted the email BTW they are not regular JiveTime teachers
Did you notice 95% of the music was swing - Nigel and Taina appeared to love it and they were fab Nelson & Karen went into swing too , Nicki & Jim coped really well dancing MJ to the swing tracks , however I was not impressed with Adam & Tonia's attempt, their timing seemed to be all over the place and they seemed to be posing more than anything else (what a shame for them, as Adam really is a good dancer)

How BORING was this show! The most interesting thing was the male presenter's threatened reaction to Nigel (who then hammed it up even more). I've just sat through the first hour, mostly on fast forward. Don't think I can bring myself to watch the second hour.
Only being able to see half the screen was annoying, but still great to see freestyle on TV. Thought Nigel the most entertaining - esp breaking into Morris dancing! I only watched it for a while as I happened to be up.
