Just seen Yli's post on the Facebook page. Yes, the 6th is a Sunday not a Saturday as I'd assumed. I therefore won't be doing it as I'll be driving Beo back to the airport after his week down here for the new year
I might be up for doing this again in the summer though.
Best of luck everyone!
The bigger cities will have January sales, but my personal preference is for the Saturday.
No-one can edict anyone else, so if some choose to do it Sat, go for it... If some choose Sun, even better...
Hehehe.... a free hugs tour: 2 consecutive days!!!
Anyway, the beauty of it is.... we are free to do what we can, when we so choose...
btw, I've started a group on FB.
Huh, small world:
BBC NEWS | Magazine | A hug from Amma
OK, Peeps...
where we at with this??
I'm unsure which city I'll be in... Edinburgh looks favourite... Maybe Perth could do with a visit...
Jacksondonut is in MK on 6th.
Anyone else organised, yet??
Jeanie and Batnurse...
Would U want to find a third and pick somewhere in Dundee?
A recommendation is finding cheep red t-shirts and emblazen "Free Hugs" on them. A3 posters are a big help, too...
I'll organise the Dundee group, if anyone wants to do it! Can get cheap t shirts printed, too. Can everyone interested in joining me please send me a PM?
A Happy Huggy Little Monkey
OK folks.... Please come and join me if you can... details.. 12-5pm at Central Milton Keynes Shopping Centre on the 6th January 2008... PM me if you need directions or anything..
I already have my original Red T-Shirt and FREE HUGS poster, If you can manage to do something similar, that would be fab...
Looking forward to seeing some of you on the day...
Luv and 's
Jan xx
I'v been away for a bit.......Xmas and all that.
I would like to do Free Hugs, but i'm not sure a the moment if im in the Midlands or London.
I have my posters and 't' shirts.
Think the hugs you guys are giving will be slightly less scary, but thought video someone sent me was lovely, however genuine...
A woman from Cali, Colombia found this lion injured and malnourished in a travelling circus ready to die.
She took the lion back to her animal shelter and nursed the lion back to health.
When the lion was better she made arrangements with a zoo to take the lion and give
It a new and happy home.
This video was taken when the woman went to visit the lion to see how he was doing.
Watch the lion's reaction when he sees her. Amazing!!!!!
Hey guys - Facebook has gotten over it's glitch and Dundee & Edinburgh Events are now part of the group - if you can let me know - time - I've put 11am - 4pm for now - and exact location can update them correctly.
there is room for many more events on the FB group
WOW... It must be wonderful to be able to cuddle a rrrreal lion.. It is the kind of thing I would love to be able to do.. being a cat lover..
sadly it is very unlikely in down-town Milton Keynes..
... well I guess I will have to make do with my pet moggy, who has a tendency to believe he is King of my Jungle...
Looking at my diary, its fair to say I will be in the Midlands on the 5th, so Birmingham Bull Ring look a likely spot.
Spoke to Ringo and Star last night and Genivieve, they are maybee's, any one else interested in Brum let me know.
