(2) I don't give a toss refers to tossing a coin to decide a fate, hence "I don't care what side the coin lands (Heads or Tails) as I'm not bothered as to the outcome" has led to the phrase "I don't give a toss"
(3) I will be there tonight and you can take it to the bank with you that I'll have a great time dancing with my friends and enjoy the night; I'll take what I want from the night and throw the rest away.

Well the last night was OK, I danced with most of my friends and a few I've not seen for a while and a few ladies I've not danced with for a while, CJ's music was more like his music of old and with the exception of what I know as Roxanne Tango, was enjoyable.
I hoped the GUU hall staff might, as it was the last night, have cleaned the floor but I suppose it wasn't thought important enough as we won't be back.
I'm looking forward to the party night in the Woodside Halls on Saturday, I've had loads of good times there at Leroc party nights and the floor is usually clean and polished.
It's over to you now Franck, JJs can't take all the "refugees" and Thurday may not suit everybody, don't hang about - the competition may try to step in (Leroc and WCS) before you find another venue.

Had a fab night at the GUU tonight. Props to CJ for playing a stormer of a set – my only complaint was the music was too good and I was missing so many great songs when I needed to take a rest and cool down...

It was a busy night, though I expected it busier with it being the end of an era, and its late closing...

Hope we can get a new Wednesday night soon – I'll miss the GUU.

Only just read this thread by accident: I haven't been able to make it to classes this last couple of weeks but I have been onto the main forum - would have expected this to be in red with the font a foot high on the front page..

Was coming back to GUU next week - where am I supposed to dance now??

I have a night class that is clashing with JJ on a tuesday , and that will go on til March

I can't even get to Rutherglen (much though I want to )as it will be just a tad expensive getting myself there and back (I got no wheels). Otherwise I would go to Rutherglen and possibly make it to the Edinburgh classes instead..


Please find a new Wednesday venue please?
