I remember going to weekender once (think it was Camber a few years ago) and I kept going down to see what was happening in the Blues Room, found it empty, so went away again. Of course everyone was doing this so the room stayed empty for some time.

The Flash Chat feature feels a bit like this - every time I've looked, there has hardly been anyone else there, so I've gone away again.

Is anyone using it? Am I just picking the wrong times to look?

The first day, it was great fun, loads of us in there. Now as you say it seems quite deserted most of the time. Perhaps alot of people haven't discovered it yet.

So, PM someone who is on-line, or ask one of your MSN contacts to meet you there... Once you start chatting more people might then turn up and join in.

how about opening a second "window" or "browser" or whatever the technical term is so that you have both the flashchat AND the normal forum on your screen?

Anyone else found that some of the "option" settings seem to be lost every time they log in? (in particular, the background being turned off and all text being the same colour as mine)

I think these options are saved in cookies, but yeah, I've found settings not stick too – not experimented enough to find out if there's a pattern.
