I recently danced with a balding man who usually shaves his head but on this particular evening he had not and I could not believe how many times my wrist was grazed during just one dance! It was truly awful!
If you want to get all up-close and snuggly when you're dancing, NO STUBBLE!

(And while we're discussing stubble.. there is nothing worse than stubble on a man's chest. Men should be big, strong and HAIRY!)

Well i was a woman for one night and had the decency to shave my pits so i think they could too...its not attractive by any means...i can now sympathise with the pain of anti-perspirant on shaven pits though

Clean shaven 10/10 (Unless you look like Quasimodos brother, then a full beard is best )
Stubble looks nice if the guy is dressed nicely, it then has more of a 'designer' effect. If he's wearing some tatty track suit, he just looks scruffy.
I hate facial hair in general, but i do like the feel of stubble on the back of my neck. (No, that doesn't mean i have stubble on the back of my neck either)

Last night i was short of time before going out dancing, i managed a bath but not a shave, i felt like a scruff all evening and was very careful when doing certain moves with ladies so that i did not "sand" their arms.

Frankie_4711 was there, i think i might have even apologised for my scruffy appearance (it's bad enough the way i look normally), she mentioned this thread and told me to come have a read.

Frankie_4711c) on what you intend to do with him - if I'm only dancing with him I don't really care what he's got on his face (within reason!)

That must be why she did not run away when i asked for a dance then.

It would seem in general it is not to frowned upon, but i will make sure from now on i make more time.
