One for all you ladies out there to answer............
Sometimes I go to a dance with a day's growth of stubble which I carefully tend then gaze at lovingly in the mirror and imagine myself to look like Don whatsisname out of Miami Vice or George Michael (?) or maybe Jimmy Nail after a two day binge. In reality I probably more closely resemble Steptoe's dad.
I have had mixed reactions, some ladies have thought it manly, others have taken to bringing their own barge poles just in case I ask them to dance.
What do you think?
my perceptions have always been that when I'm stubbly it's not appreciated by the finer sex.
besides it just makes me look unkempt and it itches like bejezus !! From the collected comments for women who have stated their preference to me in the past... .. .. .. Shave !
stubble is ok, as long as it's within the triangle.
stubble on legs?!?!?!?
Assuming he's a guy...
I guess that some will like it, some won't. I don't. And I don't like beards either (as stated elsewhere).
And on a practical level, if you're planning on snogging someone whilst you have this supposedly sexy stubble, just hope she doesn't have sensitive skin. I'm allergic to the scents used in some men's shaving products... and an allergic rash all over my face is not a pretty or comfortable sight
I have to say that I prefer the shaven look myself. There are occassions when a days stubble can look sexy on a guy but after a day, it looks and feels wrong.
Shave it off Blueshoes
clean shaven = yes
beard (nicely trimmed) = yes
stubble = no its scratches the face too much......
It depends on the woman, and the face behind the stubble.
I had a friend at uni who loved men with stubble, the more it prickled, the more she liked it. I hate stubble that is more than a day old, abd it looks better on some men than others.
What I really dislike is when some men shave all their beard except for a tiny tuft on the chin, or, even worse, just under the chin. What is the point of that?
Dunno - I think some stubble on SOME men can look sexy - ur, to look at that is... but, when you get a rash through them rubbing it in your face, it's a turn off! grrrrrrrrrrrrr
Ooh, stubble - prickly subject
(sorry - couldn't help myself )
For me its nice to look at, but impractical (too scratchy to be useful)
I tend to go for the clean shaven look myself ..but at a weekend event a sunday morning shave is not always somethin i can be bothered with so will leave a days worth of stubble...now am not what you would consider a hairy guy! but i think it can look quite good in a rugged way?...also i experiment with various facial hair designs but always through the week and clean shaven by sat night for all you lovely ladies
Depends ...
a) on the guy - some look good with stubble, some don't
b) on the stubble/hair length/style/neatness etc
c) on what you intend to do with him - if I'm only dancing with him I don't really care what he's got on his face (within reason!)
