Warwick will get to go dancing.

    In two weeks time.

I've deferred to the actual ability and talent of the better dancer of the two of us for many years. It is some 5 years since I was last at any venue and I was probably an advanced beginner even then. She's been a great task master in that period so I *think* I may still have a half decent lead on the 8-12 moves I know with variants. I'm *good* enough to be able to string maybe 4 moves together without resorting to a hand jive for a few beats.

The dancing we've done together in the intervening years has relied on *hissed* move suggestions when in public.

I'll assume I'm back to beginner. Any Leicester forumites willing to help out both of my left feet would be appreciated.

I didn't. Mrs needed the timeout and I've failed to get in any practise time in the fortnight. The cunning plan to get to dance worked though and Mrs_warwick will have to let me go dancing at some point in the next few months since the bump is getting visible.
