He's completely blind and got caught driving a car with no MOT, Insurance or licence. He's pleading "not guilty" to dangerous driving though.

I can't drive from health reasons, but even if I could I wouldn't
I'm too used to public transport with the ocassional treat to a taxi - another of my addictions - Glasgow Black Cabs and the drivers' patter

I work as an optician and the amount of people out there who insist they can see well enough to drive when they can't is scary.
There was that blind bloke on Top Gear who did a lap in their "reasonably priced car". He got round with Jeremy Clarkson giving him directions, and actually did the lap faster than some of the celebrities.
