Just the usual bruises, sore feet, and memories.
Wish I could remember more. Just makes the ones I do have more precious I suppose.
A strange thing has just happened – I found a girl's hair* tied round my thumb – tight enough not to fall off, but loose enough that I never noticed it all day (though much of my day has been spend in a semi-comatose state!)
Thinking back, I remember from late last night (think it was my last dance) finding a hair in my hand while dancing. (Could it possibly be have been just after a comb? )
I thought I had shaken it loose at the time, but it must have somehow got itself tied round my thumb.
I've got to say this is a rather bizarre souvenir of a dance to come home with. But maybe you have experienced or heard of others?
* I assume it was a girl's hair – it was quite long, and I don't recall dancing with any long-haired guys recently...

I had a bit of broken glass in the sole of my dance shoe today.
I am relieved nobody so far mentioned STD's.
An inflatable parrot. Arr, it be comin' in handy soon - avast ye hearties...
I once was given the lovely gift of a wart on my right hand. I assum it came from a dance partner as I'd never had one before and no-one in my family has had one! Took a year to get rid of
A small bald patch on my head.
ZW
I had one of those too - in my first few weeks of dancing. I thought it was probably from Ceroc too
If you (or anyone) gets another one, take a plaster, drop some tea tree oil onto the bit in the middle (not sticky) and put it over the wart. Mine cleared up in about 2 weeks. But don't normally use tea tree neat - it burns. But that's why it's good for treating warts
On the note of icky things - saw a guy sneeze all over his hand last week - he didn't wipe it (even on his trousers) just took the woman's hand with whatever all over it YYYUUUCCCKKKK! Fortunately the guys were then moved on two rather than one, so I didn't have to dance with him. I don't think his poor partner even noticed.
Well otherwise I'll just have to wash my cardie afterwards... and he'll just do it again to someone else.
Raising awareness!
my very first night of ceroc (WAAAAY back in 2003) I got a bloody nose for my troubles..
I put a hand up where it shouldn't have been .. the lady thought I was going to spin her or something and she punched me right on the nose.
I was once flipped over someones back - worked well the first time. I fell side ways onto the floor second time round and had bruises right up both legs for two weeks.
The biggest bruise on my ass following the last aerials class in Southport - wasn't even dropped but I bruise easily and it was a 'slide yer ass' on the floor kinda maneouvre! made me a bit self conscious whilst dancing in my little skirt on the Sunday night - I felt everyone would be getting a glimpse of this huge purple and black bruise - and it came up in a lump
