    Iranian nuclear opera?

I heard this on the news...

Apparently, the Iranian government has commissioned an opera, to extol the virtues of peaceful nuclear power (as practiced by the peace-loving peoples of Iran). I heard a snippet of it - yes, it sounds just as bad as you can imagine.

But wait - it gets better.... The opera is being written by a guy living in Ukraine - quite close to the site of Chernobyl.

Now, I'd love it, if this were true, but it sounds just too farcical. Surely it's a hoax?

I heard this on Radio 4's PM, but I can't find any independent verification... I'll rep the first person who can provide a source, one way or the other.

Where would we get if we all had to start working hard to get any rep? This is shocking.
