What's wrong with Sexy or handsome once in a while ladies? (I know it;s a long shot.. but there's loads of shortsighted girls out there.. and all I'd need is a power outage during a new moon on a really foggy night and I MIGHT just scrape past for a handsome comment )
Was actually called Sweet and Cute the last day by a girl I was talking to on the bus. I got up to give her my seat.. I'm gentlemanly like that and she said "That's really sweet of you.. never been given a seat by someone so cute before".. I had to smile lips pressed firmly together to stop the bile that was rising spewing forth !!

I'll admit I'm usually nice but I do have my darker/more interesting/playful/adventurous side too Maybe I should let that side out a bit more often
Yeah, take yourself off to the nearest grammar thread and jump in a cold shower (preferably not simultaneously, you might get the thread wet and it would go all matted).Originally Posted by Trousers

What's wrong with being called "cute"? "Sweet" isn't so bad either...Originally Posted by Beowulf1970
But what did you expect? "That's very sexy of you... I've never been given a seat by someone so hot before..."
And rather than get annoyed by it, you should turn it round and say "I've never given up a seat for someone so cute before."
Anyway, this is the wrong thread for all this!
The moment is spoiled when... I go and open my mouth and ruin a perfect wordless dance with something banal like "How do you like the music tonight?"

The Moment is spoiled when.....
You've spent ages getting ready to go out, You've put on make-up for once and spent ages making sure it looks like a professional has done it. You've shaved your legs put on a new clothes and really made an effort and your boyfriend turns to you and says.....
Is that what your wearing? With a strange look on his face!!!!!!!!!!
This happened to me with one of my ex's about 3 yrs ago!
Pah.. they guy was obviously mad.. and no wonder he's your ex.. every time I've seen you you've looked wonderful. even just in a pair of combats and a T-shirt you look great.Originally Posted by Freya

being too nice is not the same as telling mistruths.
and as far as I'm concerned it's the gods honest truth.

Someone says something totally unexpected.
I'm at a social gathering, mingling, chatting, dancing. Lots of happy people, great music, fine food and drink. I'm talking to a charming, lovely guy who I've danced with many times and as dancers do we talk about venues and stuff. Totally out of the blue he says,
"I'm not going to the Casbah because too many coloured girls go there."
Why would he say this?
Why would he think this?
Was it the alcohol talking?
