Unless the venue is changing that week, it is in the Waterside Hotel, which is just across the bridge from the city centre - definitely walkable for a fit young thing like you, Petal.
Planning to be up in Inverness for a few days week beginning 21 August to include going to the Inverness class. I'll be staying in a hotel within the city. Can someone let me know if the venue is reasonable walking distance from the city centre?

The Waterside hotel is actually on the same (eastern) side of the River Ness as the city centre. It's a short (10 minute max?) walk from the city centre. To find it; walk to the River from wherever you are staying, face upstream (towards Loch Ness) and the Waterside is about five minutes or so walk away on the left hand bank (looking upstream). Most locals will know where it is, so asking for directions shouldn't be difficult. (If you need better directions, PM me with the name of your hotel and I'll do more detailed instructions)Originally Posted by John S
ps the people there are really friendly!!
Hiya Petal,
It's definitely walkable and a lovely walk too!
Me and Freya parked at the hotel on Friday and then walked into town and along the river. The hotel staff are very friendly and were happy to let us park there for the duration
We also had a great night at their party
Just a shame Inverness is such a long drive away on such a rubbish road from Aberdeen - you should find it easier on the dual carriageway though.
Hi-ya Petal.
The Inverness lot are so friendly and such lovely dancers that you should have a lovely time!
As piglet said the staff were very nice and let us park there all day.
Freya xXx
as above
be great to see you up here in the far north
it will be nice to see you here in inverness petal
