I don't think this has been asked yet (or if it has I can't find it).
Sooooo, any hardcore karaoke singers? Maybe we could have Cerocers up on the stage singing along to all the top tunes played at Ceroc whilst everyone else is trying to dance! But "seriously"; any fans of the popular past time? Maybe we could have an after Ceroc karaoke party... Now i'll let you try to figure out if i'm being serious or not?
No.

Just being funny, no need to be so serious

mmmmm. I love it
never really had the bottle though!
On Holiday in the Dominican republic, there was a Karaoke bar on the complex, which was the only 'lively' bar which we could take the kids in after midnight.
So, we were 'forced' in by them, as they didn't want to go to a quiet bar or heaven forbid, BED!
Anyway, you kind of get dragged into the spirit of things And the bonus was, I ended up winning quite a few nights, which was great, cos I won free hour long massage each time!
I've never made anyone suffer my voice in England though

Actually the one and only time I've ever done karaoke was with a girlfriend i had a college. She egged me on to sing to her so I picked "Unchained Melody" from that day henceforth known better as "Un-tuned Malady"
She didn't speak to me for a week afterwards I was that bad !
Am I the only forumite out there who actually likes Kareoke?
Come on! There's has to be one other person out there - anywhere?

I love it! Only been brave enough to actually go up on stage a few times, but do it ALL the time in the kitchen and have recorded loads of songs here: http://www.xfactorchallenge.co.uk/frankie4711
Not been able to use the site for a while as we're having probs with the computer and the sound doesn't work properly, but I signed up for a year and am missing it big time!
Now - let's see who else is brave/stupid enough to join, record and post their link!
not at all - karaokes a great laugh! - as long as you can stick ur fingers in your ears on occassions!
my two songs used to be underneath your clothes by shakira or flashdance and on rare occassions time of my life from dirty dancing - classic!!! but its been ages since ive had the bottle to get up!
i remember one occassion when my friend said shed bar me from the union if i didnt sing.......ahh happy memories of student days (or karaoke heaven!)
anyone else got a karaoke favourite?
C xx
I love Karaoke!!!
but only when you go with a bunch of mates and are having a laugh, I wouldn't go seeking it out on my own....
I have only sung karaoke twice; once at a private party and once in Tokyo.
In Japan you get individual rooms, so it's like a private party. That was just me, my husband and my sister so we were able to do all the songs we liked and argue over whose turn it was to sing and get very drunk on the free (included in the price of hire) alcohol. I would do that again, but never in a pulic venue e.g. a pub.
I wouldnt say I love it by I certainly like to sing.I always do My Way if I can but I only like doing songs that I think I can do and I feel comfortable with.Mack the Knife is another.Billy Joel's 'Just the way you are' is another but I sometimes find it difficult to get the intro right.
