Well what can I say.....
After a few years of soul searching and scribbling in his little black book The Long One has decided to take that Giant leap and go along to a Ceroc Intermediate Workshop this afternoon.
It's a very brave decision and I am sure that it will benefit him in more ways than one.
I for one am really looking forward to dancing with you Clive and seeing how this has progressed your dancing abilities. I am sure you will be trying out all these new moves in the next few weeks.
I think that this shows a new standard in motivation and dance etiquette and I think that such labours of love should be recognised and applauded
I hope that now you are showing the way forward that lots of others will come out of that dance closet and join you in your quest for perfection
Well Done Clive & Keep up the good work
I really shouldn't be laughing in my condition but you're worth it

You're lovely to dance with.

Pleased to report that The Long One seemed not only to enjoy his workshop, but also to appreciate that there really is always something you can learn from somebody, without any pride or embarrassment - this is a man with a heart of gold, biceps of steel, and one of the best attitudes of anyone I have seen in a dance class of any kind.

I had a delightful time.
Tim was bright, enthusiastic and clear in his instructions.
Tessalicious is a star teacher in the making - a really good teaching team.
I was quite genuine when I said there is always something you can learn and I learned lots. I am secret move monster and have replaced a few of the hundreds of moves I have forgotten over the years.
Such an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. And a pleasant stroll on Hampstead Heath to finish the day.
Thank-you Tim and Tess and the others who enjoyed themselves.

Loved Tim's enthusiasm and skill in teaching us.
Tess - great to meet you properly, and I thoroughly enjoyed your ability to not just be a demo but to contribute fully and give so much to the dancers. Lots of useful tips for us followers. And enjoyed our dance, even if I was a bit past it by then!
No strolling for me though - after Hammersmith last night, the workshop today and 4 hours sleep last night I'm shattered! I guess this is a bit what it feels like after a weekender?
Well done Clive - glad you enjoyed it
Guess again That aint nuffink compared to a weekenderOriginally Posted by Twirly
