I just PMd this to Wendy, and while I was writing it, I realised it was far too important a statement to all of you who are starting off on this journey to not share with the rest of you too:
I'm glad you're finding this encouraging, I know how difficult it can be to start, I was a yo-yo dieter for years, but always did it for the wrong reasons, so 18 months ago, when I got back from travelling at the heaviest I'd ever been, I thought here was my chance to really make a new start in life, completely from scratch, and change all those things I hadn't been happy about for years, and my weight was by no means the smallest issue in that! I feel absolutely fantastic about myself now, and for the first time ever I know that this is a physical change in me that will really last, because I didn't diet, I changed my life and lost weight, which is a very fundamental difference.
I've been really ill over the last 10 days and I have managed to lose 3 pounds
Maybe everyone should just come to India
Ok then. Who else fancies a weekender in India
Ryanair do fly to India right ?
And that mansion better have a decent dance floor Mr Bond

Get better soon
I think they do but they notoriously never land anywhere near to a big city such as Mumbai.Originally Posted by Wendy
I think the closest is Barcelona. Long coach transfer though
Or..... maybe hire a cruise ship from Barcelona to India and dance all the way there and then a big party at your place ??? A couple of thousand people at £200 per head (Deluxe package for an extra tenner could include an unlimited supply of triple layer and hyper soft Andrex ) would probably cover our costs. And we might even have some money left over to pay for a trip to Argentina, some private tango lessons and a few new snazzy shirts/skirts
Sounds good to me

So, how did you all feel at the weigh-in this morning?
My wish for everyone taking part: having FUN while you do this!
It makes me feel really good to see young plump 20-somethings with great rolls of fat hanging over the tops of their hipster jeans, trying to convince themselves that they really are a size 10. They make an old 40-something feel really good!

BTW, I hope the pounds are falling off the Dancing Dieters. If not, I can recommend my cooking.
Lots of brown sauce on fried bread
sorry wrong thread
