I think it only happened twice that a woman actually grabbed my bum on the dancefloor and, if I remember correctly, I told both of them off for it. That is just something that makes me stay away from that person and not ask for a dance. So essentially they shoot themselves in the foot if they actually do want to dance with me. If they don't then it was probably a good way to discourage me.Originally Posted by LMC
At my time of life that might cause some consternation, but would not be entirely unwelcome !!!!Originally Posted by Andreas
Meh. Aleks does it fairly regularly on me (but not so regularly that I'm expecting it) and I actively seek her out to get a dance .Originally Posted by Andreas
its one of my favourite moves - but only with men I know that like it... but I guess that begs the question as to how I find out whether they like it or not.... try it once and see what happens Can you imagine if men did that on moves with us......Originally Posted by Andreas
Seriously though once you get to like dancing with someone and know them well enough you can try slightly more risque things with them than you would feel at all comfortable doing with a stranger....
Only once had my boobs stroked though... and we did know each other well enough for him to know I wouldn't slap him

PS it wasn't me was it?
Sorry if this post is slightly off topic but it reminded me of the time when a small group off us hired a studio to do a bit of freestyle practise. We were all pretty experienced and had been dancing away for an hour and a half or so when I stopped to take a break.
There was only one couple dancing, they are both good dancers, so they were dancing doing different musical interperetation etc. The guy has a bit of an odd style and lead which comes out more when he has a good female partner who can handle it. He is also a bit cocky/arrogant...
At one point I think he meant to grab he shoulder but got her completely on the right breast. She was not close to him and her arms were not in a position where he could just slide down to grab her hand.....
so he just lead a spin using her breast!
She laughed it off but in case you were wondering they were not a couple in the romantic sense.
I have never seen the "Boob spin" led again.
HD.
p.s my take on the boob stroke is that you can run your hand down the womans body without actually touching her. I think it is completely inappropriate to use dancing as an excuse to grope other people. If that is your thing join a swing-ers clib rather than swing dancing.....
(yes I know its jive not swing but it doesn't have the same ring).

Apparently I have no idea how often this has happened to me, because the last time I didn't notice a thing, even after my partner apologised for doing it (accidentally).
I kinda hope that the reason I didn't notice was due to me dancing with someone I was comfortable being close with, though recently a stranger remarked while we were dancing that she was tempted to grab it (I wish I could remember the move I did!), I was both appreciative and shocked, not the sort of comment I expect from a stranger!
