On a lighter note, I have good news.. I live in Finchley and my calf is on the mend!

    Re: Sickville Finchley

Ah thank you for the well wishes

So there is me with the dreaded lurgy.

    Lory with a mending calf.

Wittybird awaiting a gall bladder removal.

That just leaves Clive Long and David James from the Finchley area to do all the running around after us poorly ones.

Out of the area we have

Silverfox recovering from an appendix removal.

And Senorita with a worrying leg problem. She is at the doctors at the moment.

Big hugs to us all! Well maybe not me at the moment!!

Is anyone else under the weather?

"We're not heroes... We're from Finchley!" obviously needs to be changed

    "They're heroes.... and they're from Finchley! "

    Get well soon all,

Well, having been off since the end of February, following complications with my knee op, I have just started with the physio and following his advice, I've started back dancing gently I can only manage a couple of dances at a time, before having a rest. I am always surprised at how quickly one loses fitness in these circumstances. I'm still taking inordinate quantities of best NHS quality industrial strength pharmaceuticals to keep me going, though.

I'm planning to get out and about over the weekend, to get some more dancing and to try and build up some stamina for Southport.

Hope you're all feeling better soon and back dancing before too long
