    Physio or Osteopath in Dundee?

Hey everyone, figure someone hear should be able to help me out.

my body is a bit of a mess generally and specifically at the moment my left foot

So anyway I am going to be in Dundee for 3 months as of next week and am hoping someone can reccommend a physio/osteopath/occupational therapist in the Dundee area.

    Thanks for the help

    Hi there

I've tried every form of treatment under the sun for my various back injuries, but the Osteopath's in St Andrews really performed miracles!
Higly recommended and a friendly bunch too
    St Andrews Osteopaths
    136 South Street
    Tel 01334 477000

(Can get a bus from Dundee bus station to St Andrews - stops a short walk from the practise)

    Good luck

    Hi Yliander

My partner received amazing/wonderful/compassionate/successful treatment from Bruce Babington at the surgery Monika mentions, but unfortunately Bruce has now emigrated so I can't comment on the other practitioners there.

However, if you don't mind a train journey in the other direction out of Dundee, she would definitely recommend Peter Wilson in Aberdeen, who specialises in sports-related injuries and has helped her enormously in the past:
    Peter Wilson
    Beechgrove Clinic
    60 Midstocket Road
    Aberdeen
    Tel: 01224 622572

I know there is also an osteopath who sometimes attends the Ceroc classes in Dundee (?Jim?) but I don't have any more details. I'll point him out to you when you're here, though, if you ask me.

    Good luck.

    John

Thank's JohnS - you've just reminded me about actual names in this surgery - the treatments from Bruce was indeed all of the above and a loss for the practise, but I received same if not better treatment from James MacIvor and he's still there (Sarah pretty good too).

    Good luck

    Close, it's Tim
If John's not about Yliander, I'll point you in Tim's direction too.

Peter is an osteopath (he's got BSc PhD DD MCO after his name. I don't think DD means "Dance Demon", but you can never be sure!)

The website is http://www.beechgroveclinic.co.uk/index.htm and it looks as if they do both physio and osteo there. Rather scarily, there's a picture of them holding what looks like someone's spine - hopefully it's just a model.
