    Router problems.

    I have recently moved house.

I have a new user id/password for my ISP which has not changed.

My router still has the old id/password and is trying to use that to connect to broadband.

I can't seem to reprogram the router.

Is a netgear something with 4 rj45 sockets and no wireless.

    Any ideas? Thank you.

    CJ.

Use your browser to log in to your router (usually something like http://192.168.0.1) and you should be able to change the username and password from the control panel.

and just in case you were wondering, netgear's defaults are either username netgear or admin, password is password

you'd be surprised how many are never changed
