Ah i thought i said this, the mac ones are the usual prices, was hoping to find them a wee bit cheaper as i'm a bit skint!
The last time I bought a Mac game it was one of the tomb raider series, and I got it for a fiver from a local Mac dealer, as it was "old stock".
Maybe find something similar in one of the London Mac dealers when you're there, if not locally.
Failing that, you could see what's out there on eBay and Amazon's used, auctions and zShops...

Mac Update has a list of all published games. You can find free ones and shareware ones a part from the normal commercial ones.

If you like real time strategy Warcraft III is Mac and PC and therefore is quite cheap.
