Personally I'd stay in hammersmith, or somewhere close, and drive there after the hornchurch thing... Although its sunday morning, London traffic can still be unpredictable, and being able to sleep later, and not get stressed with the journey in the morning would weigh heavily with me...
If you are going to drive to an in-between place, you might as well go all the way......

Hornchurch?
Hope you've got lockable wheel nuts.......
There's no congestion charge at night, weekends, or Bank Holidays.Originally Posted by littleemc-central

How are you getting to London? If you go to Hornchurch (where is the dance there?) then into London later you will need to find a hotel that takes LATE booking in! There is a Novotel in Hammersmith 100m from the Broadway. but for a few hours sleep it will be expensive and I expect they charge a fortune for parking. look up Travel lodge or Travel Inns. There are hotels on the North Circular, by Barking - Formule 1 - is one that do weekend room rates. search hotels round ExCel the exhibition hall
Con charging ends Fri 1830 and restarts mon 0700
It restarts on Tuesday at 7.00am.Originally Posted by RogerR

All tube lines are running over the BH weekend (pretty unusually!)
There are two tube stations called Hammersmith; between them they are served by the: Hammersmith and City; Piccadilly and District Lines. The Circle line doesn't go to Hammersmith.
Is there noone in that area who can put up little em?
Highly unlikely!!!Originally Posted by Martin
