    The Jitterbug Years: 17th March on BBC2

    Just spotted this programme coming up on BBC2 on Friday 17th at 23:35.

    hardly any dancing at all!!

    Whatever happened to the Trades Description Act?

    Very dull black and white history programme!

    Oh no, not very often any dancing round these parts of a friday. Unless you count Maureen's Country and Western. I keep threatening to give it a go. Not tonight tho', coz it's the 'Over 30s Disco' tomorrow (oops, that's today now) and three of my lovely ladies expect me there ;-)

    Some of the music was quite evocative though; to me, that is.

    A social history programme, just like "The Rock'n'Roll Years".
    They played some nice music from the era, but only had 3 or 4 very short clips of dancing, which they repeated several times. Interesting, but a disappointment.
