Depends. If you're like dark horse, you could be in two places at the same time! Who is dark horse anyway? I bet it's someone we know! Someone that could already be on the forum under a different name! Whoever it is, isn't doing so well is he/she? -3 rep points!!! [/QUOTE]

Some people might including myself as im 2 hours nearer Camber then Southport. Then again a change is as good as a rest ??

Given there are waiting lists for most of these events wouldnt see that as a problem

It when we get them half filled thats when the problem starts

Then the prices will start going down as the weekender approaches instead of up

And it means I'll be able to sit and enjoy the view from the fence for longer (commitment-phobe? me? )

If there are to be 8 Ceroc weekenders it would be great if they could therefore avoid the clash with the Blackpool comp so folk aren't faced with which one to go to. Or will having 8 mean that anyone who might have been faced with a decision this year decide that they can miss one in March if there are 7 others to choose from!!???

Choice is obviously a good thing although for most events it still means quite a bit of travel (from up here at least) and quite a financial outlay. But I'm glad Storm was a success and that Blackpool didn't appear to be affected by it.

has anyone got confirmation that there is going to be 8 ceroc weekenders or is this all based on a chart with 8 gaps on it at camber ??

...£29 for a weekender? no freaking way!

... i take it, thats self catering, and you had to pay for your own accomodation?

wow....! I take it, this £29 was a one off?

£29 = accommodation, all workshops, all freestyles - oh, and as much water as you can drink.

Food is extra, but who's got time to eat anyway?

    Bargainous.

Is that a one off tho?
If not, I imagine people are booking up all of 2006 at this rate!

Its got to have been a loss earner!

There are limited places at this price, i believe it was 200 places at Storm. It's just a very good way of getting people to start booking early, starts off the 'oh god it's going to sell out, i better book early' syndrome.

From what I remember, the £29 Storm places were all sold out before the Storm flyers had even come back from the printers, which left Bradders with an interesting dilemma.

    Re: storm or shower

have not had time to read all of this thread, so sorry if I am repeating what others may have said

Ceroc have the dancers, if they can fill 8 weekenders with dancers they have introduced to MJ then best of luck to them.

Rock & Roll has over 70 weekenders/holidays going on this year, some events are even larger than Storm.
I doubt R&R has more regular dancers than MJ, so I think there will be room for ceroc & independants - if R&R can do it then so can MJ

I think 8 was Paul F's guess, wasn't it? I understood it was going to be 5 weekenders. The other 3 (according to Marc) could be the holidays abroad.
