Someone sent me this link, and I was amazed by it.

Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.

Incredible musicality, I wish I'd seen that before my Focus instrumental musicality workshop 2 weeks ago, he demonstrates beautifully how to switch instrument!Originally Posted by DavidB
I can see why you would like it David, tons of subtle musicality and he barely moves his feet during the performance!
Franck.
There's an A.P.P. for that!
That is just AMAZING.

All 3 of his 'partners' follow even the slightest flick of his wrist. And I bet they never complain if he drops them...Originally Posted by Franck

Fabulous.
Naturally he started with the ball in his right hand...
Finally - a use for the "Semicircle with the hand"
Amazing - makes Amir's impersonation of Johnny Lloyd look like a ballet dancer with crystal balls
That is amazing...

The juggling is more impressive, but I found it the equivalent of watching a "move monster" dancing off time...Originally Posted by ducasi
I'd agree, the juggling is great but it lacks the entertainment value of the first clip. He's just going through the motions, doesn't seem to be having the same fun the first guy was having - although to be fair, he doesn't have an audience to react to/with.Originally Posted by David Franklin

I can see that Jason Garfield did a much more technically challenging performance 5 balls instead of 3 and many more really difficult moves ...But somehow it wasn't quite so gripping . Jason wasn't so beautifully tight on the music as Chris Bliss was IMO. I don't think I'm being unduly influenced by the fact that Chris Bliss was smart on stage with a live audience and Jason was all alone in a warehouse wearing a tracksuit.Originally Posted by ducasi

A parallel with dancing perhaps guys?
A few moves done really well and exquisitely timed with the music = goosebumps all over.
A load of technical showy moves not so tight with the music = no goosebumps.
Oh yeah and a smart suit helps too
And a decent venue.

If I had to watch it without music, I'd be a lot more impressed with the 5-ball guy (who also spins very nicely).
But I've seen clever tricks before - and much cleverer ones than that - so although I'm left feeling "I wish I could do that", it's not very interesting any more.
There was a juggler at Cirque du Soleil a couple of years back that juggled very musically and very inventively with 7 balls. I was completely blown away by it. The sort of blown away that almost leaves you unable to breathe.
