    Cool Dancers in Canberra?

    Hi guys...
I'm dancing in Perth just now, but later this year I'm moving to Canberra, Australia. Yep, I met a handsome Aussie and was swept off my feet!
Anyway, I would really like to get in contact with anyone who dances in or near Canberra, or at least in Australia.
    Can you help?
Can't imagine going back to a life without Ceroc.......

    Thanks!

    Verity

    We're all handsome.

Well if you get to Sydney I can point you to some nifty venues.

Ronde! will almost certainly let you know about the Canberra story. I was just in Canberra earlier this month. The Canberra ceroc'ers are very friendly, and the girls at least were great dancers (too busy dancing to notice the guys much).

    Hi there!

Canberra has a small but fun crowd - Hi to everyone who might still remember me, especially Jackie who convinced me to try Ceroc. (Actually the crowd didn't seem small at the time, but since I have experienced UK classes, they are tiny in comparison)

I am living in London now but I actually started Ceroc in Canberra a bit less than 3 years ago. The people there were so friendly I was quickly hooked.

I even danced in a competition with a guy called Brian who was really lovely and great fun to dance with, I think he is still in Canberra.

Nitzen (sp?) was the guy who taught the biggest class there at the Canberra Workers Club.

If you still haven't got contact details for anyone from Ronde, drop me a private message and I'll put you in touch.

    Happy dancing!

Not sure if you've found us yet Verity as we don't dance at the workers club to often anymore. Check out: www.ceroccanberra.com.au for details of dance locations, upcoming events etc.. We'd love for you to join us sometime.

Another Canberran Cerocer on the forum! Hi Tez, what's news? Yvonne and I should be coming to Wednesday nights more regularly from now on, as we'll be living (literally) up the road. Ceroc changed venues, so we changed houses.

    Hiya Ronde.

Long time no see mate. Hope things are well with you.

It's my fault that Tez is on here. I'll be dancing with her in the ceroc champs in Sydney in June (assuming that Tez is who I think she is).

Look forward to meeting you if you are going to that....!!

Talking Not who you think I am.......

You know, it's bad enough being called a big girl at dance class. Now I have people from the other side of the world I'm yet to meet calling me a girl..... Always thought Tez was quite a manly nickname...

However, your lovely dance partner for Sydney is a very good friend of mine so you are indirectly responsible for me visiting these forums. In fact, she's been raving so much about dancing with you that I've been practising my female footwork. Will expect a dance in Sydney - just no aerials!!!

Signing off (in a very blokey way)

    Tez.

P.S Hi Ronde! - Hope to see you back at class in the near future.

    Oops.

    Sorry Tez

I mentioned about the forum to Tova in an email one evening, and the next morning, you'd joined, with no details on your profile, with a similar sort of name, from the same place!

I think it was a kind of reasonable assumption! How wrong can you be eh!! :sorry

Look forward to meeting you when I get there.

    Just re-read this.

God, I hope that she's not going to be too disappointed after dancing with me then. Such a lot to live up to. Although, I'm very much looking forward to it myself!

    And why no aerials??
