I'd like to know out of all the dance events of 2005, which one was your favourite?

My dance event of 2005 was a single dance with a certain lady one Sat in August that changed my life forever.
She knows who she is.
Thank you.
UK Ceroc Championships for me. (But then that's my favourite event every year!)
My Birthday night at Harrow ranks as one of the best nights of 2005 for me!

Southport especially because of Jordan and Tatiana, not many teachers in the UK even come close in ability and talent
Favourite moment : pushing a scared Melanie Hutton into Jordans path, otherwise she still wouldnt have asked him for a dance . She was great to watch and behind the Im sure she enjoyed it.
Don't think that I can specifically pick out one event. There were lots of great events, and I had fab times at many. Even the ones that were great had fantastic bits, and maybe not-quite-so-fantastic-but-still-almost-fantastic bits.
One dance can sometimes make a whole night for me too...
Really difficult to choose just one If it's at a weekender it has to be Southport in June, as i don't sleep over the weekenders then that counts as one surely.
Last sat (28th), Chiswick Blues and Hammersmith in the same night was the best night i've had in ages. Although it could be because it's fresh in my memory it's clouding my judgement slightly!
And it's also not in 2005. Just try to remember it for the thread this time next year!Originally Posted by Cruella

I have so many favourites but the "Tango in Action" weekend with Alexandra and Stefano in Aberdeen was a personal highlight.

Thats a tough one - Southport in June or September... - some really fab dances and dancing till dawn...though I've never been on a weekender and not enjoyed myself enormously yet! Other highlights - probably the BFG (meeting so many Scottish forumites! ) and dancing in the balmy air of a Spanish May night
For more reasons than one for me it has to be Camber in November
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Tricky one...
Southport June or September....... June was better 'cus my back wasn't so bad, but some dances (tango in the blues room on Sunday springs to mind) in September made that weekend really special. Ooooh, hard to choose.... Oh, and June was my first 'proper' dance weekend, which made it extra special...... But then there was R-K trying to barbeque me..... Still in therapy about that....
Oh, I don't know! September? Both??? Aaaaargh!

Lots and lots and lots and lots but the Tsunami Fund-Raising Dance in the Albert Halls, Stirling has to rate as one of the most fantastic nights ever.
The Tango Weekend in Aberdeen was the best for workshops IMHO and Southport in June for the dancing on the Blues Room Deck, brilliant!

Southport in september was great, especially the last night, which went on until ten past seven on Monday morning. i remember playing let's Get It on by Marvin Gaye as the last track for Dave Hancock, then going back to my chalet when some people were getting ready to go home......
Southport in June had a better overall atmosphere IMO.....the moment in the blues room when everyone stopped to watch Jordan & Tatiana dancing to Black Velvet ...Theres just something special about the blues room at Southport that I never feel anywhere else........
got to be southport june.....
best ever experience for me...
