    Childhood Heart throbs

I have just been watching some music channel video's when My childhood/ teenage heart throb came on.

I used to adore Boy George I used to have all his records (yes records!)
My old Nan bless her soul made me a hat with all the plaits and I used to dress up as him, make up and all. When I went to bed I used to dream he came round for dinner!

I used to dance round the lounge with a hair brush singing his songs!

I think thats probably why I still to this day adore and connect better with gay men!

Did anyone else have any silly infatuations?

My first crush was a boy called Michael (can't remember his surname) I was 12 and he was 13 - and I went to an "all night party" with him (the parents were there) and we snogged ALL NIGHT - nothing but kissing .......... how did we do it went home with a sore mouth back ache and pins and needles all over

Age is a question of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter
    Leroy (Satchel) Paige (1906-1982)

Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.

Gene Kelly for me - would never miss any of his films.

Before him I had a bit of a thing for Davy Jones and David Cassidy.

There were so many. I used to fancy Devon Sawa when I saw Casper for the first time in the cinema-he's not really as good looking now though.
Also Freddie Prinze Jr. Joshua Jackson (who needs Dawson when you can have Pacey?), Josh Hartnet- I don't know why. Jack Ryder (I used to watch Eastenders, don't tell anyone, lol) Nick from the Backstreet Boys, Justin from N Sync, and Ashley Angel from OTown, but hated that we had the same name, weird. There really were quite alot.

Also, the Lawrence Brothers! Especially Andrew, but they're all hot I

And of course, it's been Elijah ever since I think it was either 1st or 2nd year at high school when I was flicking through channels late one night and caught the end of 'the war'. I was instantly infatuated as he was around the same age as me when he filmed it, ummm

I'm taking this as another opportunity to post pics of him, first pic is of devon, and the 2nd is the way Elijah looked when I first saw him

When I was 15/16 Boy George has a clothes stall in Birmingham and went around in the crowd I did, his personality was as up and down as you would expect, a real primadonna, we called him Gorgeous George don't know when the 'boy' kicked in, his best mate at the time was Martin Digvill who was in ZZ Sputnik.
    He would have loved you.

Another thread to reveal our ages it's a conspiracy!! I loved David Essex and a boy called Mark Brisley who was my first boyfriend. (aged 10)
Also remember being mad about the Bay City Rollers! Really wanted some of those tartan trousers!!! God, i'm glad i have the excuse of childhood!!
Must admit to having an adult infatuation with Marty Pellow (until drink and drugs ruined him) and Tom Cruise

    Anyone remember this guy?

Paul Gross from the silly Canadian TV show Due South - I really fancied him (when I was 12 anyway). For once, not sure it was anything to do with the uniform though

And no, I'm not talking about the one on the left...
