Ok. It's December, it's Friday, so here's something to pass the time. What would be on your 'Dear Santa', or other wish list for the festive season?

I guess one of mine would be a private lesson with one of the WCS greats. And another one would be for some zero-calorie chocolate.

It has to be frivolous or personal stuff and not world peace and an end to poverty 'cos I would hope that was on everyone's wish list.

Dear Santa,

Well first of all I would like an English Passport or work visa so that I could stay in the UK,

Secondly, I would like a job that earnt me just enough money so that I could pay my parents back the money I owe them and any outstanding debts.

Thirdly, I would like to meet a boy with not too many psychological problems, who is well adjusted and hopefully good looking...

Dear Santa,

This year I have been a very good girl, I have managed to find a lovely place to live, a new job, lose nearly 2 stone and undergo surgery to cure my short sightedness. I have gained a new beautiful god-daughter, and a new gorgeous god-son. I have made new friends, and built on existing relationships. This has all made me very happy, so now what I would like for next year is:

Another new job, as I hate the one I have.
For my brother to be happy, as he has had a really difficult year.
To continue with my weightloss to reach my ideal weight.
For Johnny Depp to leave his girlfriend and find true love with me.
To be able to buy my OWN house.
More shoes.
and more hats.

I didn't ask for this, Santa is only a mythological being who can travel the whole globe visiting every single child (accept the ones of different religions, and the ones who are living in adverse poverty and cruelty) to give them all presents without every being seen by anyone in one night, he's not a miracle worker!

Sorry, not of course its not true, infact a philosophy I've stood by for years is this:

Santa can only give presents to children, giving them to everyone is just too much to handle, but as you become older its hard to let go of childhood and accept this, so, all the grown-ups convince the children that Santa isn't real, so they won't be disappointed when they stop receiving presents from him. Its only when you grow up that you can then learn to accept once more that he is in fact real, but that he might not always be able to get time to bring you a present.
