Werner Kern dance shoes: public service announcement

Yes, as Lynn mentioned, I got new shoes and I love them to bits!

Absolutely gorgeous mens' & ladies' shoes. Italian made, German supplier.

They are sooooo soft, like wearing slippers, but still supportive. I have been recommending them to everyone. No pain, no blisters, …

    Check out http://www.wernerkern.de/danceshoes.html

You can buy the shoes direct from them – I rang them up (Peter Kern – lovely guy, perfect English, v helpful) and ordered with my credit card. The shoes took 10 days to arrive and there's no charge for P&P.

Obviously, it's a problem not being able to try the shoes on first - but my mate Peter, he say, No problem, just send them back if they don't fit & we'll send another pair/refund/whatever you like ...

They seem to be fairly wide fitting (I have wide feet and my normal shoe size in these fit me perfectly). But I was recommended to order half a size smaller, so those with narrow feet might be better with that.

The shoes I got are called Tiziana - 99 Euros, which was £69. Expensive, I know, but soooo worth it! That's it - Christmas present money blown already ...

I have heard good things about them.

I have to laugh though at the complete bias, in most apparel stores, towards women. I guess its understandable given the stats but its still mildly annoying for us guys.

The WK site lists the headings for types of shoe as:

Court , Tango , Salsa , Sandals , Comfort , Super Comfort , and MEN

Thanks for the link, Rachel - gorgeous Tanzschuhe! I had to peek, and the Tizianas are definitely the ones that stand out for me, too! Did you get all black, or red & black?

    I never noticed that! But, then, I wouldn't ...

I got all black (for now), for practical reasons. My old (new) black pair had worn through & had holes in them, so I was desperate.

I want the 2-tone beige & black next, then the red & black, ....
