If I come along I can collect from Herts/North London - first 3 PMs get space.

I can't decide yet - not because I think I'll be getting a better offer but because my time horizon doesn't extend that far. Ask me in a week's time.

There will be some special forum taxi journeys I believe.
I will sort out all the details nearer the time

I might look into perhaps hiring a car for a couple of days.... not sure of cost though but I can report back....

I'd kind of assumed that anyway. And I'd assumed there wouldn't be too many complaints if the CDs were just playing, 'cos I'd have to be dancing.

Re: On Your Own Christmas Day?

Well, I cant say my life is predictable at the moment.

I have recently started seeing someone I have known for a while and we were chatting last weekend. The outcome of it was that I was going to go and spend xmas with her.
Im really sorry for those that had wanted to come round to my pad. I hope someone still sorts something out.

To be honest, I dont know what im playing at. Usually I would break up with someone just before any major gift-giving occasion

Sure, the invitation is open. I'm just wondering about the Christmas night dancing though. My living room isn't *that* big...

Well i have plenty of room so if anyone wants to come up here they are welcome as long as they bring a bottle or 2 or 3. Welcome to crash too. Might need to bring a sleeping bag though.

Re: On Your Own Christmas Day?

    Is this for real?!?

If so, I might be tempted...

Plan A is I'll be near Birmingham for a couple of hours on Christmas Day , but might be tempted to foray a little further south.

Oh, and plan C is Forth Road Bridge, so my hopes are kinda pinned on plans A&B!!

    I'll bring trifle??

Unfortunately there has been no big dance party organised due to some unforseen circumstances, I think there are other lunches being put on by various forumites, however, Im going to live it up in the luxury of my own home, with lots of chocolate, fried foods and movies.

But you are always welcome (especially if there is trifle involved).
