Some of the video clips have reconfirmed the reasons why I'm putting myself through the agony of learning this amazing dance

I've got a foul cough and have run out of chocolate so I was sitting here feeling yuk and sorry for myself until I connected to Radio Tango and followed some Tango links. I've cheered up after reading some of: Close Embrace - Articles. The "Ask Maleva: Tango Advice Column" is great! Some really good stuff and some funny stuff as well.
I particularly liked "The Beginner's Crush" - shame I've never been the object of one!
I just found another useful link:
It's a Tango Wiki, and it's got a lot of useful information about steps - for example, planeos
Here's one from MsFab's post:

Here's a good resource for the London tango scene:

This one is good for Bristol area - and some fab videos as a bonus. Check out the "Hermanos Macano" one in particular; great fun! You've got vals from Julio & Corina, milonga from Javier Rodriguez & Geraldine Rojas, fantasia from Claudia & Esteban plus Puppy & Gavito (both sadly now dead - it was Gavito's last public performance, when he was a very sick man and had lost a lot of his strength) representing the "old guard". I could watch Geraldine for ever - her dancing, particulary the way she actively contributes to the dance, is an inspiration.

I promised to send all my tango links to a guy I met at Southport so I extracted all the URLs to a .txt file. I've emailed it to him but it occurred to me that some folk on here might find them useful as well so I've attached the file.
Some you will have, a couple might be dead but finding out what lies behind each might pass an idle hour: have fun!
Great place for some learing videos. Even after 3 years was able to get some fresh insights.
