My cam corder cost £700 used it twice, lent it to my son who has lost the leads - can't even give it away now - what a waste of money

Did film some Brighton dancers doing the Full Monty routine at Hove Town Hall about 7 or 8 years ago (could use it for blackmail them when they have children or grandchildren )

(wonder if Tiggs Tours remembers that night)

Age is a question of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter
    Leroy (Satchel) Paige (1906-1982)

Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.

2 of the most recent presents I have bought the g/f were a Bosch whisk/mixer and a set of Tupperware cartons. Who says romance is dead?

Also bought mother some saucepans - quality saucepans not cheap tat, mind - for Xmas last year. Rang her on Xmas eve and said I had her a practical present. She said ' Oh, not saucepans is it?'. Cue trip to the shops...................

Oh yes! How could I possibly forget (even if I wanted to!)

I think mine would have to be bought for me, I had an aunt bought me a book on the art of flower arranging for my 16th birthday, but then she also wrapped up my uncles own slippers to give to him for a Christmas present one year.

I have a friend who (until recently) was the ultimate in crap gifts, she bought me a winnie the pooh poster for my 27th birthday, and it was a serious gift! I think I used it as wrapping paper on my niece's 2nd birthday present.

My ex-boyfriend broke my kettle one evening just before Christmas. On Christmas day he gave me a new one as my Christmas present. I nearly wrapped the lead round his neck and strangled him with it . However, managed to keep a hint of a smile on my face and pretend I was happy with it.

Why? I'd have gone with the strangling him option, if you don't teach them, how will they ever learn? I guess that's why he's and EX-boyfriend!

Correct. He was an extemely selfish chappie. With hindsight, your right, strangling option was best.
