You could always get a smaller car, do you really need one with such a big tank? Why are cars designed to go up to a maximum of 140mph, when the speed limit is only 70?

Im thinking of getting a newer bigger car as part of my life style change which no doubt will cost £65 to fill up

    I've got a little car, and I'm over £50 / tank also - 50-odd litres isn't unusual in a car.

    Well, because:
    - More powerful engines make for a smoother ride
    - 70MPH is the speed limit at this time in this country, not forever all over the planet
    - Boys like toys...
