    "Follow the Fleet" & "Shall we dance"

    Perusing the TV listings for next week, I've just noticed that the following Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers films are on this week:

    Tuesday 2 August BBC 2 13:00 to 14:50 "Follow the Fleet";

    Wednesday 3 August BBC 2 13:00 to 14:45 "Shall we Dance?"

    Might be worth setting the video for.

    Can't beat a bit of Fred and Ginger! Their dancing whilst roller skating in "Shall We Dance" is terrific. But I've got a softer spot for Gene Kelly's roller skating routine in "It's Always Fair Weather".

    I shall of course be taping both films to add to my Fred Astaire collection. A pity you can't just tape the dance sequences though.
