    An Ideal WORD

Whilst dancing with a certain forumite male on Tuesday evening, I was informed that I'm a Nice Girl.

As I've said elsewhere, I don't WANT to be a Nice Girl. Not that it isn't nice to be a nice girl, but (again I'm quoting myself on another thread) as Eartha Kitt says, "I'm tired of being pure and not chased."

And this got me thinking- anyone who's ever had a good English teacher will know that the word nice should be anathema to you if you really want to be descriptive.

So with that in mind, what ONE WORD would you pick as the one you would most like used to describe you?

Anyone who really wants to open a can of worms can choose one word to describe somebody else...

    Bags I alluring.

    I'd like Enigmatic

In reality I think I'm probably quite transparent though.

IMHO there's nothing wrong with nice, but compassionate would be a nicer description.

It would rather depend on who was using that one word.

"Lovely" - anyone can call me that (don't know if anyone actually does....)

I've also been described is "different", "enigmatic", "unpredictable", "annoying" and a whole number of other things which could be taken as compliment or insult.

"charismatic" was the latest nice one

And finally, "Mine" would be meltingly wonderful from one person and get everyone else a slapping.

"Enigmatic" seems to be popular with the girls so-far... My dictionary defines it as "difficult to interpret or understand."

I've heard myself say "you're an enigma" to a few girls, but I don't think that has quite the same subtlety of meaning.

It just takes a bit more effort to understand the inner workings of an enigmatic person.

You took the time to consult your dictionary (case in point)
