    Re: Baby Smurf

Great news - Congratulations to you both.
I did predict at the BBQ that Fi would have the baby early !! ( Although I did say by the end of last week!!!)
Must have been the gardening Fi was doing at the weekend
    Daughter Wendy sends her love
    Hope you are all well,

    Heather,

PS. Fi, don't forget the bags from Mothercare!!!

    Great news, congratulations.

I'm surprised you could detect the sex so soon. Are you sure there wasn't a mix-up at the hospital? It's not normally possible to tell the sex of a Smurf until they're at lest 70 years old (even DS is in the "undecided" category) - and by then nobody cares

    CONGRATULATIONS!

So, how many times a day do you check to see she's still breathing?

    CONGRATULATIONS!

I'm so glad for all of you - Nick, please give Fi and Niamh my love, and I'm glad to hear you're fine too .
May I have a cuddle (with the baby, obviously ) when I come to Scotland in the Autumn?
Looks like I'll have to come to Southport in September - apparently I'm on the babysitting rota!

Lots of love to you all

    Re: Baby Smurf

thanks all we are very happy

Yes, Niamh is pronounced 'Neve' but I think its Celtic heritage predates the American somewhat

She settled down to a nice pink colour after being initially a bit blue, so no need to continually check for breathing

So when does "length" get converted to "height"? Or is that a walking thing?

    Congratulations to you all.

Just as well she didn't arrive before The Tramp's weekend workshop on Baby Aerials.

But what are the odds for a long-term bet on Niamh winning the 2023 Scottish Ceroc Championships?
