    Strictly African Dancing

    Anybody know who won this?

I saw the first programme but missed the results as I went out, and the video was set up for something else.

    Re: Strictly African Dancing

I really enjoyed this programme, having seen various types of African dancing in Ghana and Nigeria. I agreed with the judges and public that the Zulu dance was the best but I got the impression everyone taking part had really enjoyed it.

The only negative was Natasha's dress - I thought she really let herself down by not making even the slightest effort to join in with the African theme for the night. There is such a wealth of beautiful African colourful cloths - she could have at least had a Western style dress made of African cloth if she didn't want to wear African style.

i took my best friend for her birthday last year, its a fab show - if you wanna see it, don't go in the school holidays (to may loud kids singing along - spoilt it a bit for me), and go for one of the cheaper seats near the back cos you get a far superior view!!! it is awesome - highly recommended

I went to see the show when it first opened as a surprise birthday present and it was FANTASTIC!!!

We were seated right on the end of the row in the middle of the theatre and they really were the best seats in the house as we could see everything.

The show is well worth watching.

The Lion King show is in London till 2006. Sorry DD you will have a long wait till you see the show here in sunny Scotland. What about organising a 'Week-ender'? You could try and mix dance with the theater, either a romantic liason with you and Mrs D or a large group of folk and get discounts. I know w/enders too many/not enough is under discussion at the moment, but this is seemingly a great show. Too good to miss stuff.
