Seems fair enough, even if the phone was OK, it would take a while for the LCD to dry out. But don't leave the battery connected while it's drying out. And more important, don't put the phone in the microwave or the oven to dry it out!Originally Posted by frodo

You've just reminded me of one time when I dropped my mobile in the sink. It still worked but had some water in it, so I popped it into the oven for a few minutes to dry out.
