Well you could start with looking at www.ceroc.com, or possibly the sites listed at: http://www.afterfive.co.uk/EventListings-links.html
If you're looking for events in the S, S/E then Lynda's list is highly recommended

Hiya All,
Hailing in from Sunny Bristol. Hope you can throw me some Advice on the below:
Any Good Web sites - listing National Events - 12 months in advance etc???
Absolutely gutted I didn't make the Hammersmith event - a Coach day trip out with the barmy west army... with dancing involved....... gutted... gutted....! Sounds like you all had an awesome time!
What do I do to "get in the know" for future events??!?!
By the time I get wind of events - its normally too late and I have other things on, I can't really get out off!
Eg.
Walthemstow - few days before hand
Hammersmith - 2 weeks before hand
I'm just one of the happy go lucky guys, who turns up to local dances.... the Web sites I go to seem to be current events... or events happening in a weeks time etc!
Hope you can help
Martin
PS:
My local Bristol Web forum I go to mentions "uk-jive.co.uk" - I had a look, could be wrong, but it seems to miss out Ealing etc,k and so is not the be all and end all of events listings.

Thanks spindr
I used to make a list of all the main dance events throughout the year, but it took too long to compile and maintain - the monthly one takes up enough of my time
although most are weekenders or holidays check out
(these links are also found on http://www.afterfive.co.uk/EventListings-links.html )
John Sweeney's

Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.
Many thanks Guys,
I'll have a look when I have a moment! 8)
