I watched it in parts saturday. Confused the hell out of me. My six yr old was explaining it.
Nope, never been a four generation limit. The 12 regeneration limit was introduced in Tom Baker's time in the story the Deadly Assasin. Previous to that it had only been mentioned in a Patrick Troughton's last story the war games, which introduced the Timelords, the Doctor said his people could live forever barring accidents.

Is there a Dalek Caan fansite set up?
"The sayings of Dalek Caan", something like that?
Surely there must be at least one, somewhere...

And you haven't even seen the Dalek Fred* mania!
Dalek Fred on YouTube
*Dalek Fred was the one dalek who did something no other dalek has ever managed to do in the whole history of Doctor Who - and that's exterminate the Doctor!
Well I watched it, then I watched it again... overall I just wasn't impressed, it didn't grab me, in fact nothing in this series has RTD seemed to be running out of ideas, the whole three parter was a bit long and drawn out, he just threw everything available into the script and let it stew with no real thread and some very tenuous links.
One good thing though - CT has been written out, completely It's going to take one hell of a back-track and a ridiculous plot to get her back, I think that was deliberate
Mr Darcy and I had recorded the last 3 episodes and watched them back to back. I was jumping up and down on the sofa shouting for him to hurry up when one finished and I was waiting for another to start
I ratehr enjoyed them, especially when the doctor (10.5) was talking like Donna - that had me in stiches. Also the german daleks were cool.
I felt it very sad that Donna lost all the memories of their travels and adventures and a little bit of me hopes that she will be brought back ... somehow.
Off on a tangent, Mr Darcy and I are off to the exhibtion at Earl Court on the 21st as a birthady treat
