Mmmmm, but Mr. Smurf is definitely better than doggie chocs! I prefer him to any Cadbury's, too!

As for Swiss, Belgian or Norwegian chocolate........ I'll keep that a secret. The blue man might get too big-headed......

Ahh but the bigger he gets the more chocolate to go around!

I've said it before and I'll damn well say it again: Simon Borland.

Any of the London girls who haven't danced with him yet really, really need to. That is if you can get a dance in edgeways (as it were).

Also: Mike the Taxi Dancer at ISH, Seamus, Martin, the Taxi Dancer with the bandana whose name I can never remember, and Julian at Ashtons -though you have to warm up with some other people to get the full Green and Black's Maya Gold effect of Seamus when he's on form, and I'm always quite nervous dancing with Julian because I've nearly elbowed him in the face a couple of times and that would just be criminal if I actually did manage to break him. Martin's great because he messes about if the song is ridiculous, and bandana man is just fabulous to dance with full stop, and is the only dancer apart from Simon that I know who actually does lady-leads (so much fun!).

My vote goes to Richard of Coventry last Saturday who saw a guy dance with me so roughly he came and asked me to dance straight away to ease the aches
Must get him on the forum a real sweetie

Seamus = Green and Black's Maya Gold effect Heaven forbid, the man's pure 'Space dust' you know that stuff that fizzles, crackles and explodes on your tongue! He got me to do 5 spins last Weds, then I promptly fell on my bum!

He's incredibly exciting and great fun but you really have to dance with Bill or Azande to know the 'true meaning' of 'better than chocolate'!

Which would mean planning a trip to Scotland, wouldn't it? Unless Bill or Azande are coming down to London (or are going to MJC)...

I still think Seamus is Better than Chocolate.

IMHO, the definitions of Better than Chocolate v Better than Shopping work like this, at least in the circles I dance in:

B.T.C. = Really great fun once or twice in a night but more can be overwhelming! (eg Viktor, Amir, Simon B, BillCo, Nigel)

B.T.S. = However many times you dance with them you are still left wanting another (eg ESG, Rhythm King, Spice 'n' Easy, SilverFox)

Just one problem- considering that I've NEVER had more than two dances with Simon B (can't say about the others but I doubt anyone except their regular partners get the honour of multiple dances), how do I KNOW he doesn't fall under the 'BTS' category.

I'm not counting the time at Fulham when we spent the whole pre-Intermediate-class freestyle with me trying to learn/help him remember some moves he was about to teach in Advanced. I certainly wasn't overwhelmed, but I'm not sure it quite classifies for consideration in the BTC/BTS thoughts.

    Hi LM,
to put you out your misery, THEE Lovely Roy comes from Stirling but used to frequent Glasgow and Edinburgh venues, however we lost him a year or two ago to the Manchester girls, due to job committments.
However, I will give him his due, he does come up to Scotland whenever he can, cause he knows he has a huge fan club up here, we all love dancing with the Lovely Roy.

So on that note ROY the BOY, get yourself organised for your trip to Edinburgh for the Colon Cancer Charity Ball on Saturday 4th June.
... and please keep a wee place in your dance book for me.
