Iced gems are penny sized hard biscuits with a pointed swirl of very hard icing on top, they look pretty but taste absolutely vile!

Ta, thought they might be the same thing but different name, but not so it seems. Yes midget gems are like mini wine gums, you still get them here. Not fond of them myself.

But anything with chocolate, thats a different matter...

I don't like the hard jelly sweets but can eat my way through a share of pic'n'mix jelly shapes! I like fruit pastilles and love those soft fruit jellies.

Have discovered that Sainsbury's make some rather yummy ones of these, they're made with fruit juice and have sugar on the outside and are completely moreish because they're so squidgy...
