I'm currently trying to plan my diary for next year and want to try and put together a list of all the upcoming events in 2005 so that I don't double book myself.

All I have so far is

Scarborough (jive addiction) 4-6 Feb
Southport (jive addiction) 10-13 June
Southport (jive addiction) 16-19 September

Do you guys know the dates and venues for all the other things going on yet?

As well as all the regular monthly parties in Glasgow / Edinburgh and Aberdeen, we have a series of Special events already planned for next year in Scotland:

• 5th/6th February: Aberdeen - Beach Ballroom Week-end. Guest teachers, workshops and parties...

• 12th February: Glasgow - Valentine Love night.

• 5th March: Dundee - Dundee Spring Party. Dancing at the Bonar Hall....

• 23rd/24th April: Aberdeen - Beach Ballroom

• 18th/19th June: Aberdeen, Beach Ballroom Week-end

• 2nd/3rd/4th September: Perth, Big Forum Gathering Week-end

• 1st October: Edinburgh (Musselburgh) - Scottish Championships

• 19th/20th November: Aberdeen Beach Ballroom week-end

• 22nd December: Dundee Christmas Party - Bonar Hall.

I have been asked to organise a modern jive fund raising dance for Mercy Ships

I have in mind either Friday 15 April, Friday 22 April or saturday 14 May, 2005, at Gateshead Civic Centre, that can take 400 people.
Lynn and Duncan have provisionally agreed to do the music and a simple class.
If you know that this date will clash with anything in the NE of England, would you let me know.

And if you would like to be involved in any way, also please let me know.
