I think my Cha cha slide days are over now.....seems to have been ambushed by some summer version dreamt up in a spanish holiday resort If i rope Kriss (Cristina) into this we can teach you something a bit less cheesy......i hear the Macarena's still popular

    I think that could make for a good discussion.......whats the cheese-ist dance you've seen/done?

cheesy 80's bands had some repetitive dance things - Adam and the Ants : Prince Charming for example

or you could dance like Sophie Ellis Bextor in Murder on the Dance Floor

    More Southport titbits........
i've just come home to find a nice letter from Cumbria constabulary, who clocked me doing 82mph on the M6 at Tebay services on Friday afternoon..........and would like the tidy little sum of £60 and would like to add 3 points to the 3 that I already have on my license. i would really like to suggest that they go and catch some REAL criminals.....but I suppose it would be eaier just to pay up.......

annoying isnt it - 82mph ... hope they clocked the 90% of the traffic that would have been overtaking you at that speed. :sigh:

It helps if you don't think of Traffic Police as real police who deal with crime. They're really mobile traffic wardens. A while ago I had some dealings with the real police as we were their employers - I asked them how you become a traffic cop. I was told you have a chip fitted ...

.. not that there's anything wrong with Traffic Wardens or Traffic Cops. They have a job to do, I just wish they'd do it when I was obeying the speed limits

Most annoying bit is that I actually stopped at Tebay services for a break, so they must have clocked me just before this...and there were quite a few people passing me at the time.....wonder if their camera takes multiple shots....

Bad luck dance demon. Maybe you should have had dancing girlie and Lindsey in your car, "smiling at the cops as they cruised by at 85mph"!

I have 6 points on my license too. Got to be careful now
Aren't they soon to increase the speed lomit to 80mph on motorways?

I think the 85 may have been a bit of fib ..was just the passenger....but I'm sure there were plenty going a lot faster than 82 DD - sorry to hear. Like you say, pity they didn't catch the 'real' baddies!

Thought I heard the limits were to be upgraded too.

The 80mph limit is only a Tory proposal, so don't hold your breath for it being implemented any time soon

you are welcome, it is such a lovely dance, but very difficult to learn the basics, once you get them it is down to following and style - wish I could remember you now, sorry
