    Is there any interest? got any ideas post or PM me
    Franck has said it could be done

    Saw this wonderful idea, by the absolutely smashing LL and thought I’d give it a thread on the admirable Franck’s superlative forum. One award I can think of is ‘Forum Luvvie’, a splendid award I think. This would, I humbly admit, be a difficult one to award. After all, we could award it to Smurfey, whose clear, insightful straight-forward (but delightfully lunatic) postings are a joy to behold. Then there is Sheena, whose comforting, matronly presence – a presence complemented by balanced and stroke-able moderation – is a soothing voice of reason. It pains me that Linda would be unlikely to win, she’ far to quiet...perhaps unique award for her?

    South of the border, ChrisA, whose modest, self-effacing comments on his dancing are a wonderful example of the humility we should exercise in life. Or Andy who, more than anyone, demonstrates that where there is a will there is a way. Pammy perhaps, who is just lovely.

    To me, whoever wins the award is immaterial, the simple existence of such an award would serve as monument to this, The Forum.

    I would just like to add in parting, that simply being a part of the forum leaves me, on a daily basis, feeling like a big, soft, plump puppy all cozy and snug in front of an open fire. I love you all.

    You beat me to it; I was just about to create a new thread with that quote as well.

    Suggested Cattegories:
    * Most humerous post
    * Best Syg
    * Best Avatar
    * Best Thread (Starter credited) (one for each seperate room?)
    * Biggest Deviant (throwing threads off topic)
    * Inuendo King/Queen

    I don't think that there is much point in quantifiable cattegories (like "most prolific poster" or "Longest standing member" {})

    Surely if we're going to maintain high standards and keep it really interesting we've got to include:-

    Most flamed
    Most posts/threads deleted
    Most stupid (I've got to be eligible in at least one category)
    Least intelligible

    there must be many more possibilities.

    Most ill-placed apostrophe?

    For that I nominate Fulham Ceroc.

    Which puts up a notice board, headed:

    "New's"

    Thought of another one there could be serious competition for after next weekend, or after any dance w/e

    Least number of toenails

    I suppose we could have a barefoot inspection before and after the BFG, to see who loses the most that w/e. Of course it would have to be done to the track "Barefootin'"
