    Well, it really depends how much you like driving, and at what time of the day.
    If you want to be in the Ealing area for anything like 8pm you would do best to leave Staffs by about 5pm. It's not really a 3 hour drive, more like 1 1/2, but at trhe time you would be at the siouthern end of the M1 you would be in traffic from about J10 to J8, and it could add that other hour to 1 1/2 hrs.
    You would do better with somewhere to stay nearer the venue, and go back next day if that an option.

    Hope that helps you decide.

    Hi James! Just sent FC a huge PM, before reading your post, so i'll be brief here ....

    Hipsters is just about an hour from us in Northampton. It will probably be nearly 2 hours from Lichfield. Come and stay over at ours for the Monday/Tues night, and you can come down to Hipsters with us! Yes??
